Early life & motivation
Born on April 16, 1984, Sasirekha combined a strong foundation in business (BBA — Madras University) with a heartfelt dedication to children’s growth. Her early roles at Apollo Hospital and major corporates gave her professional rigor; her calling in education led her to classrooms in 2009.
Professional journey & founding Modern Legends
In 2015 — motivated by a vision to create child-centered, safe and creative learning spaces — Sasirekha founded Modern Legends Play School in Puzhal with 15 children. Today the group educates 100+ children across two branches with a team of 18 dedicated educators. Her leadership emphasized experiential learning, health & safety, and community impact.

1. Go Green initiative — annual tree planting program recognized by the Tamil Nadu government and recorded in a Book of Records.
